Subscriber Spotlight – K-12 “ Seeing the World from a Virtual Standpoint”
For the students in Kevin Hackney’s World History, World Culture, and AP Art History classes at Egg Township High School in Egg Township, NJ, NBC Learn videos take them where most have never been. “We can’t go to the great museums or archaeological sites on a field trip,” Hackney says, “but we can see them from a virtual standpoint.”

NBC Learn Subscriber Spotlight: 4th Graders Blog About Current Events
It happens every week in Turquoise Cannon’s 4th grade class at the Bates Academy, a school for gifted and talented students in Detroit, MI: her 35 students watch a selected Current Events video on NBC Learn, then blog their responses to Mrs. Cannon’s questions and at least one classmate’s response.
